Time (DateTime)
The DateTime format in Overseed
Time is used in the following specifications:
  • SpecTimeStep
  • SpecTimeWeights

Description

DateTime in Overseed uses the RFC 3339 format which utilizes the following syntax taken from Chapter 5.6:
Example (UTC+0): 2021-08-24T09:44:37.055Z
Notice that Z is used in the example. This indicates a time zone. Z specifies the timezone as UTC+0, the Zulu timezone, also known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Alternatively, a different timezone can be specified. For example, a Pacific Standard Time (PST) would use the time-numoffset -8:00, changing our time to the following: 2021-08-24T09:44:37.055-8:00
